So, people who sleep at 9pm and wake up at 4 am have no social life? They can't go to parties and events because you need to sleep at 9. What if you are travelling and your flight is at 10 pm? How do you manage if you are sleepy by 9? You can't attend parties and socialize and so on. Because most of these events happen from 8 pm to 11 pm. It means that we have to sacrifice our activities with our friends and family just to go to bed at 9. What if your kid has exams and they are studying late night and they need you to accompany them during their late night study? Is it worth it? It's a huge scarifies. Yes you will succeed in life but how much time did you spend with your loved ones? And finally you'll die of regret not being there with your loved ones. Is life only about money and success? What did you succeed? You'll be left alone in life with lots of success and money but no social life, no activities with friends. Only work and sleep and money with zero friend experience. It's either this or that. I can't change others. My friends want me to hang out with them from 8 - 11 pm. And I'll be missing on them. My life will go on without them . Slowly I'll be anti social. So, it's a massive sacrifice. It's going to be very hard on your death bed. Don't you think? You'll be missing out on so many small things in life. Your life will be at odd times. Life is short, you never know who dies tomorrow. Spending time with your family and friends are more important than money and success. Both needs to be balanced. You can't change the whole world. So, it's your call. And waking up at 4am will come with a heavy price. You may enjoy it till you are in your 60's but after that you'll regret that you've wasted so much precious time and now it's time to die. By the time you realise what you've been missing in life, it's gonna be too late. You'll be distant and anti-social and boring. What are you gonna do with all that money you've earned? Your friends and family must be there to enjoy it with you but now you are old and boring and no one wants to be with you anymore. Just imagine! Gives me chills.

I am the opposite since Covid and my spiritual awakening. I basically cut off every useless friend every narcissistic relative boy did it really open up my eyes to see how Yuen valuable the humans in my life were and I’ve never been happier. My focus is to God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit and that’s about it, and when you finally discover this, I am telling you you are so free and I’m not saying to be mean to these people but believe me they are not where they used to be in my heart and for good reason I don’t wanna share anything with anybody! Not my goals not what I’ve been going through nothing I know now that I was surrounded by jealousy and envious people that literally bought my husband and my family down that will never ever happen again

Does any of this matter in the real world though? Like sure if you're an athlete or a student who struggles to focus it might help. In the real world you can put all this effort and focus in place and get a "meets expectations" on your next review and stay in the normal promotion timeline. 90 minutes of focus and a bit of exercise / massages aren't going to change that.

@robin: For a long time (like 5 years) I am taking really seriously to wake up at 5AM. About 20/20/20, I faced with some problems such as: Vipassana meditation leads to meditator to medidate for an hour (not 20 min) or about running, I need 15 min to walk (to warm up) and them 1 hour running. so is it ok to have it in that way? maybe it is pitty, however, my mourning routine takes 5 hours in sum: am I doing something wrong?

Thank you for the summary! I've watched majority of your videos, actually starting the day from it, it's great for increase awareness of some topics that you don't have enough time to dive into. I have some ideas regarding your "episodes": - Highlight 1 top idea with example at the end of the video. If you thinking of reading the book, which core or novel idea you'll be using? - Ideas interconnection (I like the way you connect ideas from books about habits, I'm pretty sure there are more from the graph of ideas to pick from). You can include links to your other videos with the same thematic - Macroanalyse. Where's the book industry in particular topic (say, self-development) is going? What's the macro trends? Which ideas are keep circulated around and which become obsolete? You can only answer if you read 10+ books published in different periods. About books to cover - System thinking by Daniela Meadows - Management F-Laws: How Organizations Really Work by Russell Ackoff - The Great Mental Models: General Thinking Concepts by Shane Parrish - Classic books from ancient times - (Auto)biographies of prominent people Thank you!

Whenever we deal with more than a single factor, quantification may become useful in order to extract information. The 3 general types of averaging in statistical evaluation are Mean - the total divided by the number of factors gives this important "average." Median - merely the central of varying factors. Perhaps "noise" which deserves greater elaboration below, refers to both extractable biases, and to that occurring through factors unidentifiable due to the unpredictability of nonquantifiable factors, which can occur through emergence. Our brains are organs that SEEK to Expect, weighing the biases modeled to us early, the biases resulting from experiences we regard AND once regarded as salient - emotionally important because we are obligate social beings rather constantly Machiavellian. The famous hungry judge harsher sentencing stat exposes what's called a dynamic bias occurring due to brain signaling hunger or attentional exhaustion. Thus a Machiavellian factor occurs but circadian time-dependent. The point is: we CANNOT extract individual biases without being apprised of an individual' life in totality. Mode - is the most frequent response or number, exemplified by constrained choice. If most humans choose something, this can also indicate a bias affecting the Mean AND the Mode. However, it may indicate a general bias in the specific population sample selected. Any cultural bias implicitly affects a group "average" choice in this way. All groups or systems are dynamical, changing, subject to change. This is because NO system is completely closed to other dynamical, changing factors. some factors may change so slowly that effects may be discounted. But in complex , multifactorial, systems, small changes in any single factor may result in massive differences in outcome. Cascading effects - effects which change other effects, describes the particular dimension inducing this magnification. Economists tend to engage in cognitive attempts to reduce and eliminate factors inducing small initial variance, factors inducing unpredictability, factors preventing reportable outcomes. Danny Kahneman worked to identify factors that lead to errors in human thinking, and his & Amos Tversky's identifications of bias and logical errors made him attractive to economists who desired predictive success. A major "noise" reducer prescribed by the book's authors IS: to ADD another statistical layer on an evaluation. Up to a point of efficiency involving time, to produce a final decision, this does reduce error. This is called metastatistical analysis, analyses of a set of statistical analyses.

The claim about people being let into law school with overall lower scores and then after graduating, having the playing field leveled in terms of salary and performance was, um...wow. Is there evidence for this claim? Was there data gathered from law firms and client feedback from across the country regarding these graduates' performance and salary compared to those who were not given a break in law school admittance? Seems far-fetched at best. I hope the book can back up such claims, if asserted.
